Book reading: The Gruffalo

He has terrible tusks and terrible claws, and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws! Luckily, the fearsome Gruffalo doesn’t really exist – does he? Winner of numerous awards, this riotous rhyming tale shines with imagination, and is simply made for reading aloud while making romping, stomping Gruffalo noises! Hilarious, suspenseful and just a teeny bit scary, it brings the power of words and stories to shimmering life.

Find out who or what he is on Saturday, 2nd April, 2011, which incidentally also happens to be the ‘International Children’s Book Day’.

Additional info.

– The Gruffalo is a picture book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
